THREE-QUARTERS of workers in the North East feel secure or very secure in their job, says a new survey.
Also, two-thirds feel satisfied or very satisfied in their role, according to the latest Reed Local Salary and Market Insight report.
Reed director Claire Harvey said: “Undoubtedly, this is still a challenging time, but it is encouraging to see workers in the North East feeling more secure in their job roles.
“This sense of confidence is perhaps borne out in the number of job seekers, who feel that the market is stable enough to make the next move.
“Interestingly, our data shows that job security is most keenly felt by middle and senior management, which is encouraging given this group’s grasp on the health of their organisation.”
