Christmas is just around the corner and the gift-giving has arrived early – courtesy of Sunderland Business Improvement District and the Bridges.

Everyone from high street big names to the city’s unique, independent retailers are geared up for the festivities, with presents to suit everyone.

But for one lucky reader that shopping list just got smaller – thanks to our bumper prize package of goodies, worth more than £1,000.

There’s gifts for him, gifts for her and gifts for families. We’re giving away everything from bling to books, from perfume to pasties!

And although the items may all be varied they have one thing in common – every one of them can be purchased in the city, confirming that when it comes to festive shopping there really is no need to go anywhere else.

Add into the mix late-night shopping, free car parking initiatives and a fabulous Frost Village with ice skating, a fun fair and a Christmas market in and around Sunderland’s Keel Square and you’ve got all the ingredients for festive fun.
