BEAUTY queen finalist Steph Robson took to the catwalk as part of an exclusive wedding show.
The 18-year-old from Seaburn joined a host of beauties who strutted their stuff at the Echo’s sister publication etc magazine’s prestigious wedding show.
Steph, who’s a finalist in Miss 24 Carat, a North East beauty pageant set up by Sunderland business woman Jodie Breeds, looked radiant in bridal gowns which were supplied by Durham-based Wild Brides at Heart.
Sports student Steph, who stepped on to the catwalk with the Echo’s media sales consultant James Shaw, said: “It was a class day. I absolutely loved wearing the dresses. They were amazing.”
The show was held on Sunday at Rockliffe Hall, near Darlington, and drew in a crowd of 400.
An array of exhibitors ranged from Kelly Ann’s Cakes to Lingerie by Annette, which featured in the catwalk show along with bridesmaid dresses from You Are Precious, and tailored suits from Jules B.
Make-up artist Amanda Bell, from Seaham, and hair stylists Be Premiere Hair also showed off their skills, as did dress designer Kate Fearnley, who was also exhibiting.
Georga Spottiswood, etc editor, said: “Wow, what a day! Our wedding events just keep getting bigger and better.
“The fashion show went down a storm with guests. It was the first time we featured models wearing bridal lingerie, and brides to be loved it.”
etc will host its winter wedding show at the venue on Sunday, September 29.
