CONTACT centre staff are to be honoured for their hard work.
Preparations are under way for this year’s North East Contact Centre Awards on Wearside.
The annual ceremony, first held in 2003, aims to recognise and reward the achievements of the employees who have helped the industry become such a great success in the region.
It will also hand out awards for company excellence to businesses with more than 250 seats and those with fewer than 250 seats.
Last year, 500 people attended the event at the Rainton Meadows Arena and this year’s ceremony, sponsored by NRG, will take place there on November 9.
Other awards include contact centre dream team, customer hero, best new talent and innovative use of technology.
Before then, two free workshops to give help and advice from judges to applicants are being held on July 4, in Houghton, and July 5 in North Tyneside.
