BUSINESS bosses can question boss Paolo Di Canio at a special event later this month.
SAFC’s registered charity – the Foundation of Light – hold their special Tip Off Lunch each year, when an invited audience of corporate members get the chance to have an exclusive chat to the team’s manager.
And now any company that signs up for a Foundation Corporate Membership ahead of the event on September 16 will receive two invitations for what is always one of the most popular events on the Foundation’s calendar.
Guests at the Tip Off Lunch enjoy a two course lunch followed by the question and answer session hosted by Di Canio, with the event hosted by Foundation ambassador and BBC TV presenter, Jeff Brown, from Monkwearmouth.
Corporate membership is £250 plus VAT a season and also grants the members an invitation to the Top Scorer annual celebration event, attended by members of the SAFC first team.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for SAFC fans to hear the thoughts of Paolo, who is certainly one of the most interesting characters in football today,” said Phil King, head of commercial at the Foundation of Light.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Paolo for giving up his time to attend Tip Off Lunch and we very much appreciate his commitment to the charity.”
For more information on becoming a corporate member contact Cherie Lauder on 0191 551 5315 or email email@example.com. Corporate members must be registered with the Foundation of Light by Friday September 6 to be able to book places for Tip Off Lunch.
The Foundation of Light is the registered charity of Sunderland AFC which works with more than 42,000 people every year, using the power of football to inspire, involve and educate young people and their families and adults across the North East through programmes that can improve their lives.
Structurally and financially independent of the football club, the organisation relies on fund-raising for 90 per cent of project costs.
