SUNDERLAND’S largest independent firm of chartered accountants is bringing 75 years’ experience to bear in judging the Sunderland Echo Portfolio Business Awards.
Experts from TTR Barnes have been guiding generations of business owners to succeed and grow their companies over the years.
The firm’s David Cook is using that wealth of experience to help judge the 2013 Portfolio awards.
TTR Barnes is again sponsoring the speaker at the awards as part of their ongoing commitment and support of local enterprise. Guests will be entertained by Black Cats legend Kevin Ball.
Director Allan Russell said: “We are delighted to once again sponsor the speaker at this year’s Portfolio awards.
“These awards continue to celebrate the growth and resilience of the Sunderland economy which has the ability to overcome difficult and challenging times and respond positively to changes on a national scale.
“The awards prove that there still is and, always has been an entrepreneurial spirit in the city. There are lots of vibrant, exciting new and existing businesses out there who are starting up and expanding despite what is happening in the wider world.”
TTR Barnes, based in Grange Terrace, employs more than 35 staff. The largest independent private accountancy firm in the city, TTR Barnes has a strong commitment to Sunderland’s business community.
It recently rebranded its financial services company, Key Wealth Management, who are experts in providing independent financial advice on pensions, investments, life cover and mortgages.
This year’s ceremony will be held at the Stadium of Light on Thursday, October 10. For tickets, contact sorted PR on 265 6111, e-mail email@example.com.
