The Sunderland-based furniture and flooring specialist has been shortlisted as a finalist in the home and garden category of the 2015 Online Retail Awards for its website scs.co.uk.
The Online Retail Awards are international, impartial, independent business awards that can be won by online retailers of any size anywhere in the world, with the aim of seeking out examples of firms’ web, mobile and tablet sites and advances in digital stores that offer great online shopping experiences for customers.

Sarah Oldroyd is head of , digital at ScS: “Over the past 12 months the site has undergone a complete makeover with the customer being central to its new developments,” she said.
“We have added features such as high-quality photography, sticky navigation and rich content, enabling online customers to find what they want in the simplest way possible.
“We wanted to give our online visitors the same warm welcome and professional service they would receive in one of our stores, and our focus remains on putting the customer at the heart of our online strategy.”
ScS has been shortlisted alongside other national retailers, including MADE.com and Laura Ashley.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on September 15.
