A SHOPPING centre is switched on to connecting its customers.
Byron Place in Seaham has made wi-fi access free to all of its customers.
Its bosses say they made the decision to install the high-speed coverage so visitors can keep in touch with friends and family via social media, surf the web and work while they shop.
After registering, shoppers can log on to the secure service via the login page using a phone, laptop, iPad or other wireless device, including those who do not have a data plan, from inside the building.
Once connected, the device will automatically connect next time shoppers are in range of the system.
