BOSSES at a Sunderland contact centre are hoping to create up to 300 new jobs after landing a number of high-profile contracts.
Doxford International-based 2Touch has secured a five-year six-figure contract to provide marketing and fulfilment services to fast-growing e-commerce retailer Duvet and Pillow Warehouse (DAPW).
The news comes as the firm has seen a surge in sales from £14.4million to almost £20million and increased its workforce from 700 to almost 1,000, with hopes of as many again to come by 2014.
2Touch managing director Stuart Gray believes the firm has benefited from the move away for traditional high-street shopping.
“We are receiving more and more work from clients that are keen to grow their on-line sales,” he said.
“We are delighted to be working with Duvet and Pillow Warehouse. We see e-commerce as a key driver in the growth of our business and the commitment and ambition of the DAPW team is aligned perfectly with our own.

Established in 2006, DAPW has a range of more than 500 products and has experienced annual growth of more than 40 per cent, requiring it to look for a partner to help fill its orders.
