Celebrating success? We'll drink to that
FRIDAY is your last chance to enter the Sunderland Echo Portfolio Business Awards 2008.
We have extended the deadline for a week, but with shortlisting scheduled for the first week of September, Friday is the absolute limit.
The awards will be presented at a ceremony at the Stadium of Light in October, where guests will be able to enjoy a drink courtesy of city PR agency Press Ahead, which is providing wine on the tables.

Managing director Russell Borthwick said it was a big event in the local community's calender.
He said: "As a Sunderland-based company, we believe business success in the area should be celebrated both as an inspiration to existing organisations and to people considering starting their own business.
"The Portfolio Awards provides a great platform for this."
Press Ahead started at the city's North East Business and Innovation Centre and has just moved – for the third time – into larger offices in the BIC to accommodate its expanding team.
"We are passionate about this area and the wider North East region and this is reflected in both the way we do business and many of the projects we have been involved in and clients we work with," said Russell.
"These include, among many others, the Echo's own Wear1 campaign; a campaign for the Sunderland Partnership to promote the image of the city; Passionate people, Passionate places and associated tourism initiatives; working for Gentoo and the new Academy 360, which it sponsors; outdoor clothing brand Berghaus; and, in Durham, the new Radisson SAS Hotel and the Prince Bishops Shopping Centre.
"At Press Ahead, we know the media inside out. Our team boasts many years of experience working at senior levels in editorial, marketing and commercial management.
"This is augmented by a deep knowledge of PR gained through experience in-agency and in-house, in private and public sector organisations.
"We use our expertise to engage with the regional and national media, providing project management services based on a real understanding of the key strategic and operational issues facing publishers and broadcasters today.
"In turn, this further strengthens our relationships with the media, allowing us to work knowledgeably and well with them on behalf of our clients.
"The skill sets we offer are unique, both within North East England and nationally.
"On each and every project, we back ourselves to deliver outstanding service and results to each and every client."
Press Ahead's communications services include: strategic marketing; PR, crisis management; market research; advertising campaign fulfilment; outsourced marketing and sales promotion; media alliance building.
Russell said: "As wine sponsors at the Awards, we give the following advice to guests.
"Consume responsibly and do the sober thing – contact Press Ahead for the finest vintage PR, media and marketing advice."
