More than 1,000 jobs and apprenticeships will be up for grabs when a major recruitment and careers event is held in Sunderland.
Dozens of companies will be at the The Job Show North East which runs from 10.30am to 3pm at the Stadium of Light, on Thursday, September 29.

It is sponsored by Barclays and will showcase dozens of companies recruiting in a range of sectors.
It is the latest in a series of shows at venues including the homes of Leicester City, Manchester United, West Ham, Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal football clubs.
As part of their ongoing recruitment drive in Sunderland, Mel Donoghue, Barclays Contact Centre site president said: “The Barclays Sunderland Contact Centre has been chosen to drive several new initiatives recently including fraud, video banking and voice security – opening up many new opportunities in an award winning environment.
“We are looking for people who are able to really connect with customers and we’re hugely excited to be able to offer a whole new range of career opportunities across the Sunderland site.”
The shows around the country bring together employers, training providers, universities, colleges, recruitment agencies and organisations.
