Business park bosses at a Wearside site are celebrating being best in show for its gardens and greenery.

Rainton Bridge Business Park has been named as the best commercial site by this year’s Northumbria in Bloom awards scheme.

The business park, owned and run by CRBE Management, has a number of big firms on the site, including NPower, EDF Energy, Sale Cycle and the Sunderland Echo.

Work on the business park is carried out by employees from Grace Landscapes.

Danny McLaughlan, business park manager, said: “The award is testament to the ongoing hard work of Grace Landscapes and the CBRE Management Team.

“The landscaping across the business park creates a unique working environment.”

Darren Hardman, North East Regional Manager for Grace Landscapes, said: “It’s testament to the dedication and skill of Gary and Terry along with the inovative and enviromental approach to the management of the park by CBRE That once again Rainton Bridge Business Park has been recognised by Britain in Bloom as the overall winner of best Business Park in the North East Region.”
