It has recruited six customer services executives to fulfil the new contract.

The successful candidates are based at BE Group’s office on the Spectrum Business Park, and are already providing support and assistance for firms contacting the group’s Business Support Helpline.

BE Group turned to South Tyneside-based recruitment business Zenith People for help in identifying the right candidates while working to an extremely tight deadline

Zenith People managing director Angela Anderson said the opportunity to work for BE Group had helped to attract high-quality candidates.

“It’s been great to work with BE Group on this recruitment exercise,” she said.

“They are a top company to work for, so candidates are attracted to them as an employer as well as the roles they have to offer.

“That’s half the battle for us.

“They’re also a great company to work with and we’ve developed a great partnership already.”

Nicki Clark, chief operating officer at BE Group, said she was delighted with the standard of service provided by Zenith and the quality of candidates the company had been able to provide.

“Zenith have consistently found us new colleagues not only with the right skills and experience, but great work ethic and ambition,” she said.

“In addition to the quality of candidates they have met incredibly challenging timeframes.”
