WEARSIDE businesses are being urged to help set the economic priorities for the region at a one-off event this week.
Organised by the North East Chamber of Commerce, “North East Infrastructure: Are We Fit for the Future?” will pull together the region’s business leaders to ensure the private sector has its say on priorities for improving infrastructure.
More than 80 companies have already signed up for the conference this Thursday.
Chamber policy advisor Mark Stephenson, said: “This conference offers people the chance to address the barriers to growth affecting their own businesses and help establish lobbying priorities.”
