DETECTIVES have arrested two men and two boys over an arson attack and a break-in believed to be linked to a blaze at a former school.
A mid-terraced house in Easington Street, Easington Colliery, was spotted on fire by a neighbour at 11.45pm on Saturday.
Police think another fire, at Easington Colliery Junior School, in Seaside Lane, at 1.25am on Monday, could be connected.
Two men, aged 19 and 22, have been arrested on suspicion of arson on the house and released on bail.
A 16-year-old has been arrested and reported for burglary on the same home, which means he could appear before a court at a later date.
A 15-year-old was arrested and bailed in relation to the incident.
Anyone with information can call police on 101.
