SUNDERLAND’S Bridges shopping centre is looking for a new charity partner.
Centre bosses are asking charities and organisations across the city to come forward if they would like to become the official Bridges charity partner this year.
Director Andy Bradley said: “As part of our commitment to supporting the local community in Sunderland, we’re keen to help a worthwhile charity.
“Selecting one charity to support for the next 12 months is a really great opportunity for us all at The Bridges to give something back.
“It’s going to be a tough task deciding which charity to support, but we are hoping to find a worthwhile cause we can generate awareness of and raise as much money as possible for.”
Owner Land Securities and The Bridges’ management team will draw up a shortlist, with selected charities then asked to make a presentation.
Applications, in no more than 500 words, should be sent to Lynne Hodgson on email@example.com, or to The Bridges, Upper Market Square, Sunderland, SR1 3DR by May 31.
