A SUNDERLAND graduate is giving art enthusiasts a unique chance to quiz her about her Olympic-inspired sculptures.
Michelle Castles, 37, used wire mesh to create lifelike sculptures of athletes diving, running and jumping, which now form an installation at Newcastle’s Biscuit Factory.
Today, the talented artist will be at the gallery to talk about her work and demonstrate how she carefully crafts her sculptures.
Between 2pm and 3pm, visitors will have the chance to see Michelle at work.
Between 6pm to 7.30pm, visitors can enjoy drinks while chatting about her inspiration for the pieces.
A spokeswoman for the Biscuit Factory said: “This is our opportunity to share with you our detailed knowledge of original art as well as introducing you to everything that makes The Biscuit Factory special.”
