A MAN has been arrested after a newsagent was robbed just two hours after her husband suffered a heart attack.
A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery yesterday after a raid on Richardson News, Rochdale Way, Red House on November 23.

He has been released on police bail.

Owner Bridget Richardson was still dealing with the shock of her husband Jeffrey collapsing and was waiting for news from the hospital when the crime took place.

Police are continuing with their inquiries and anyone with any information is asked to call officers on 03456 043 043, ext 66343, or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
