Ryan Hyden, 19, from Hylton Road, Pennywell, died after being hurt on a night out in Sunderland city centre.
He was found in the street with serious head injuries at 3am on Bank Holiday Monday.

The 19-year-old's family are still coming to terms with the tragedy.
