Any Dream Will Do finalist Craig Chalmers will lead the cast when Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat arrives at the Sunderland Empire.
The 25-year-old West End wannabe was one of the most popular finalists in the BBC series, which aimed to find a leading man for Andrew Lloyd Webber's new West End production.
And Craig, chosen from tens of thousands, charmed audiences week after week with his vocal talents, finishing in the top five.
Bill Kenwright, one of the most successful and prolific producers in British theatre today, was on the panel of judges alongside Andrew Lloyd Webber, Denise Van Outen and John Barrowman.
Before Joseph, Edinburgh-born Craig was a professional vocalist and entertainer.
He was part of successful boyband No Reason, who enjoyed a top 10 hit, and performed at the Kings Theatre in Edinburgh and Hampden Stadium, alongside Blue, McFly, Sugarbabes and Girls Aloud.
The production has already received rave reviews up and down the country and has enjoyed standing ovations at every performance.
Retelling the iblical tale of Joseph, his 11 brothers and the coat of many colours, this magical musical is full of unforgettable songs including Any Dream Will Do, Close Every Door To Me and One More Angel.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat bursts on to the stage at the Sunderland Empire on Monday, June 30, and runs until Saturday, July 5.
