Couple accused of sex on a bus

A couple have appeared in court accused of performing a sex act in front of children on a public bus.

Michelle Randall, and Gary Willis are charged with outraging public decency on the bus which was travelling to Stanley on October 6.

Randall, of George Street, Langley Park, and Willis, of The Poplars, Penshaw, did not speak during the short hearing at Consett Magistrates' Court.

No pleas were entered and the case was adjourned for a committal hearing on January 5.
