SMILE and the world smiles with you, they say, but what if your smile is getting you down?
Gappy, missing, broken or yellowing teeth are common... but with the new Echo competition Gift of a Smile, you can do something about it.
Olivers Dental Studio, in East Herrington, is offering one lucky reader the chance to win dental work worth up to £10,000 in order to transform their looks and confidence.
The prize also includes a £500 photo shoot with David Lawson Studios, on Chester Road, and a cut and colour at Reds Hair and Beauty, East Herrington, plus make up and a course of 10 CACI non-surgical facelift treatments worth £750.
Owner Michael Oliver, who has been in the business for 28 years, said: “A good smile is something that can make a massive difference to a person.
“I think there are a lot of people who would benefit enormously from some significant dentistry but they find the cost is too much.
“We do a lot of smile makeovers and give people a smile that they are happy with.
“It’s a self-esteem thing. I’ve met a lot of people who shy away from smiling because they don’t like their teeth.
“When I was young we didn’t have Cheryl Cole on the telly every night – teeth have gone from something you use to eat your fish and chips with to something you use to impress people.
“You notice a person’s eyes and teeth first and first impressions count.”
