VISITORS to Sunderland Minster enjoyed a fine vintage.

Sunderland University Fine Art student Manda Bell has been the brains behind the vintage fair.

Manda, 19, said: “We were very nervous beforehand because it has been a long time planning it and we were just hoping it was going to be a success.

“With it being a first-time event as well it was important it went well.”

Stalls selling vintage clothes, hats, homeware, as well as cake stalls and a patisserie were open for business.

Manda started the fair in response to the lack of vintage shops and independent boutiques in Sunderland’s centre.
