FAMOUS faces of screen, sport and music make up the first batch in our Star Snaps feature.
We want Echo readers to send in pics of themselves in chance meetings with celebrities.
First up is seven-year-old Kate Ryan, from Sunderland, meeting her idol Aston Merrygold from JLS.
“She waited in the freezing cold for nearly five hours without one little moan to meet them,” said her mother Terri.
“They were fantastic and all made a fuss of her, as well as signing a book for her. Made her year last year.”
While on holiday in Plymouth, Rebecca Cox, 23, from Washington, met Olympic hero Tim Baillie.
The Aberdeen-born 34-year-old won gold at London 2012, in the C2 canoe slalom with partner Etienne Scott.
Claire Todhunter met Tom Fletcher and the rest of McFly at Tynemouth Priory last summer.
“I had a good chat with Tom he is a very nice lad who loves his fans,” said the 39-year-old, from Hylton Castle.
“I was admiring his wedding ring and touching it, as he said it was made from a meteor.”
While he was been appearing in panto at Sunderland Empire, Emmerdale star Tom Lister kept himself busy.
He posed for photos with a host of Wearsiders, including seven-year-old Jessica Knight, from Ryhope.
And Nikki Ratcliffe met him while she was having a quiet drink in the Dunn Cow, in Sunderland.
If you had you your picture taken alongside a famous face, the Echo wants to hear from you.
Previously, readers have sent in photos of themselves in chance meetings with celebs including actor John Barrowman, QPR manager Harry Redknapp, chef and TV star Marco Pierre White, and with snooker legend Jimmy White. Whoever the famous face was, if you had you your picture taken alongside them, the Echo wants to hear from you.
Send us your Star Snaps and we will publish them in the newspaper or on our website.
To get involved, just email your photos with your name and where you are from to email@example.com.
Mark the email Star Snaps, and provide your name, age, and part of Wearside or County Durham you are from.
If there is a tale behind the chance meeting, we’d like to hear that too.
