Have your say

We are in carnival mode for this week’s column.

Our Sunderland Echo archives contain numerous images of jazz bands through the decades. You may recognise some of the people in the photographs and we would love you to get in touch if you do.

The first is from July, 1975, and shows the Hotonians supporters. Who are the people pictured having a great time?

Secondly, this image is from June 1977 and shows five-year-old mascot Tracy Muldown leading the Shiney Row Eagles Jazz Band to the Grangewood Recreation Ground during the Shiney Row Community Association Carnival.

Pennywell Toreadors Jazz Band are shown marching through the streets in March 1974 and we would love to hear from old members.
