COULD these fashion wannabes have what it takes to be the face of 2011?
We have already received scores of pictures after launching the competition last week and here are just a few of the entries so far, via text, email and post.
This year, one reader could be strutting their stuff in a professional photo-shoot at David Lawson studios and sharing the catwalk with the beautiful people of the fashion world as part of an amazing prize package.
We have teamed up with Reds Hair and Beauty who are offering the winner a year’s free hairdressing.
The winner will also receive a year’s modelling contract with Glamrus Model Agency, £100 to spend at Eleven and teeth whitening courtsey of Olivers on Durham Road.
Connor Newby, 17, from Silksworth was entered by his mam.
He’s studying medical science at Bede College and was really surprised when she told she had entered him into the.
He said: “I didn’t expect it. I’ve never thought about modelling before but the prizes look great.
“I would definitely be interested in winning them.”
Stephanie Kirton, from High Barnes, is a travel and tourism lecturer at Tyneside College. The 24-year-old had no idea she had been entered until she saw her picture on our facebook page.
She said: “It was my friend who put me forward. I was really shocked and gobsmacked when I saw my picture.
“It’s not something I would normally put myself forward for, but I would definitely like to win.”
If you think you have the perfect pout, don’t be shy, take a picture and send it to us either by post, email or text message and remember we are looking for men and women.
