Miss Sunderland Jen Wilson has joined other beauty queens to release a charity Christmas single.
The pageant princesses are hoping to reach the No 1 spot with Our World, which will be vying for the coveted No 1 spot on Christmas Day.
Former Sunderland University dance student Jen competed against the other women at the Miss England finals earlier this year, and though she didn’t win the overall title, she did scoop the Miss Eco crown.
The Miss England finalists feature on the song by fellow finalist Rheo Parnell who is Miss Coventry and Warwickshire.
The music video for the track was directed by award-winning director Jack Van Spall from Mountain Pictures and was filmed in a variety of locations across the country.
One of the locations featured the Miss England Finalists sporting shiny gold catsuits.
The song was originally written for U2, but it was never used on the band’s album.
Big Help Record Company boss, Dutch Van Spall said: “This is by far one of the most ambitious videos we have ever made. Having access to all 55 Miss England finalists added some spectacular images and all of the girls have been incredibly supportive throughout the production process, which has had its challenges.”
The proceeds from Our World, which is out now, will raise money for the Miss England and Miss World, affiliated charity “Beauty with a Purpose”. The charity works to improve the lives of sick, disabled and disadvantaged children throughout the UK and worldwide.
