TV chef, Marco Pierre White at the Stadium of Light with SAFC footballers, Adam Johnson and Phil Bardsley as they prepare to take part in the Black Cats cooking Challenge,
BLACK Cat players felt the heat as their off-pitch skills were put to the test.
John O’Shea, Phil Bardsley and Adam Johnson were put through their culinary paces by Hell’s Kitchen star Marco Pierre White.
The gastronomic guru returned to the Stadium of Light last night for another instalment of Marco’s Black Cats Kitchen.
The popular event sees the famous chef host an evening of cooking and entertainment at the home of SAFC, joined by the players, who prepared a three-course meal for the audience.
As part of the evening, each player cooked a different course, featuring regionally-sourced produce.

Guests enjoyed the feast, prepared under the Michelin-starred chef’s watchful eye, and then voted for their favourite course.
