MUSEUM visitors will go barking mad at the chance to try out their sheepdog handling skills.

Beamish is hosting its Show of Agriculture from today until Sunday and has brought in a new attraction to test out the skills of families.

Visitors will be able to play the roles of sheep and handlers and take part in sheepdog trials at the show.

The handler, using traditional sheepdog commands, has to guide the blindfolded partner around the course and bring back cuddly sheep.

The show recreates a country show from early 1900s.
