Who could ever forget the Rink, once you had experienced it you were hooked. I remember dancers forming a circle round those with the best dance movements my brother Billy was one of the centre movers. The girls were fantastic lookers .

The Rink was a great place,I remember my mam, E.Peters, telling me she used to dance there. I used to go there Saturday afternoons to dance, in the early 60s,

Never mind the Seaburn Centre, the Rink was the place for real Rock “N” Rollers, I used to love jiving with two good lady boppers from Hetton-Le-Hole.
