Lindisfarne legends to stage cracker of a Christmas show
The band will play two Christmas shows to end a hugely successful year for the revitalised band that has seen them perform at festivals across the country to more than 50,000 fans.
Fronted by founding member and songwriter Rod Clements, Lindisfarne will play their greatest hits at the City Hall on Thursday, December 22, and Friday, December 23. Tickets are available now through the City Hall box office and already both gigs are set to sell out.

Lindisfarne have long viewed the music venue as their home, so the City Hall was the perfect location in 2012 for the Lord Mayor of Newcastle to unveil a commemorative plaque celebrating the late Alan Hull’s achievements with Lindisfarne.
Following a special performance at this ceremony, the seeds were sown to resurrect the band for Christmas shows in 2013 and 2014. Last year the band returned to a full-time live touring schedule that has seen them perform the length and breadth of the UK.
Rod Clements said: “The band has been rejuvenated over the last year and a half and the response from audiences has been amazing.

“What better way to end a successful year than celebrating at our spiritual home Newcastle City Hall.”
