Terrified woman, 22, shares photos of shocking injuries following attack in Sunderland city centre

Georgia Perry was pushed to the ground and immediately felt agonising pain during an incident in Derwent Street, Sunderland.
Her sister Charlotte Perry says Georgia was then attacked by two women who shouted abuse at her while she was taken into an ambulance.

Hide AdShocking pictures show bruising and scrapes to Georgia’s leg and her arm in a sling after her collarbone was snapped during the altercation.
The 22-year-old had been enjoying a night out with her partner and his friend when the incident occurred.
Sister Charlotte said: “She’s just absolutely terrified. She's a very small and petite – when she was pushed to the ground she was in agony straight away.
"It’s just awful that these people would do something like this. Georgia is very outgoing and would chat to anyone but she’s also quite anxious and wary of her surroundings.

Police have confirmed they are now investigating the incident and CCTV footage is being reviewed.
A spokesman for Northumbria Police said: “It was reported that between 1am and 4am on Sunday (August 16) a verbal altercation occurred and a 22-year-old woman was pushed to the ground, resulting in a broken collarbone.”
