Police appeal after jogger bitten by dog

Police have launched an appeal following reports that a jogger had been bitten by a dog in the Hatfield Place area of Peterlee on July 28.
Officers have not been in contact with anyone involved in the incident and want to speak to the runner.

Hide AdAnyone who knows who the person may be is asked to contact Peterlee Neighbourhood Policing Team or call 101.
A Peterlee Police spokesman said: “We have been made aware that a jogger may have been bitten by a dog in the Hatfield Place area today.
“Nobody involved has so far been in contact with us regarding the incident, but we are keen to track down and speak to the jogger in question.
“If you have any information regarding the identity of the jogger, please contact Peterlee Neighbourhood Policing Team or the duty sergeant on 101.”
