A number of activities may have been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but there are still some fantastic things happening to help the family spend some quality time together – and keep them entertained. 1. Chips and ice cream at the seaside

2. Souter Lighthouse

3. Sunderland Illuminations
Autumn skies are being brightened by the annual lights display at Roker and Seaburn. While there are no activities at the seafront or Festival of Light this year, why not take a walk along the coast and enjoy the sparkling decorations. Photo: JPI Media
