North East celebs pay tribute to Caroline Flack after she dies age 40
On Saturday, February 15, it was announced that TV presenter Caroline Flack had died, as her family released a statement saying: "We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today, the 15th of February.
"We would ask that the press respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time and we would ask they make no attempt to contact us and/or photograph us."

Hide AdAccording to PA wire, a lawyer for the Flack family confirmed that Caroline took her own life and was found in her east London flat on Saturday.
Tributes to her and her family came flooding in from our local stars.
Sunderland reality TV star Charlotte Crosby tweeted: “Caroline Flack my heart is breaking this can’t be true.”
Previous South Shields Love Island contestant Harley Brash took to Instagram to say: “In complete shock. RIP beautiful.”

Former Geordie Love Island contestant Amber Davies, who won the ITV2 series in 2017, tweeted: "My heart is actually broken."
Scarlett Moffatt, a TV star from County Durham took to her Instagram story saying: “Sending love to all of the people that love you and there’s so many Flacky.”
