First puffins touch down on the Farne Islands

They're back! The first puffins have touched down on the Farne Islands.
Many thousands will be arriving in the coming weeks, to reacquaint with life-long partners and renovate nest burrows for another busy breeding season.
Meanwhile, the National Trust Rangers are working hard to prepare Inner Farne for opening this Friday.
