Lisa Joanne Bulmer, 42, of Salisbury Street, Sunderland, received a 12-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay a £21 victim surcharge after admitting stealing £372 of handbags from TK Maxx on February 25.
Leighton Cooney, 34, of Balmoral Terrace, Grangetown, Sunderland, received a six-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay a £21 victim surcharge after admitting committing assault on November 6 last year.

Hide AdCharlie James Nicholson, 24, of Rennie Road, Red House, Sunderland, was banned from driving for six months, fined £180, ordered to pay £200 prosecution costs and a £32 victim surcharge after he was convicted of failing to provide information leading to the identity of a driver suspected of committing an offence on May 27.
Bin Zhang, 35, of Railway Terrace, Sunderland, received an absolute discharge and was ordered to pay £85 prosecution costs after admitting speeding on the A1 on March 27.
Raymond John Robert Smith, 25, of Lilac Square, Houghton, received three penalty points on his driving licence, was fined £40 and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 in prosecution costs after he admitted careless driving and causing harassment, alarm or distress on October 19 last year.
Mark Anthony Hart, 31, of Galashiels Road, Grindon, Sunderland, was placed on a community order, fined £80 and ordered to pay a £90 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs after admitting possessing cannabis on January 28.

Hide AdGary Connolly, 35, of Williams Terrace, Ryhope, Sunderland, received a 12-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay a 21 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs after he admitted two counts of possessing class B drugs on March 3.
Ivy Green Granton, 73, of Westheath Avenue, Hill View, Sunderland, received six penalty points on her driving licence, was fined £120 and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge after admitting obstructing a police officer and driving without a valid licence or insurance on January 15.
Alan Paul Lawson, 41, of Arklecrag, Albany, Washington, was fined £120 and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £50 prosecution costs after admitting driving without insurance on August 3 last year.
