Contract extension for Sunderland keeper
Sunderland have rewarded goalkeeper Maksymilian Stryjek with a three-year contract extension.
The 19-year-old, a youth international with Poland, has impressed in the Black Cats’ rise to the top of the Barclays U21 Premier League First Division table, and the club have tied him down until 2019.
He has managed four clean sheets this season.
Stryjek will look to make it five in tonight’s Premier International Cup quarter-final against Dutch club PSV Eindoven at the Stadium of Light tonight (7pm kick-off).
