Which would be your favourite and why? That’s what we asked our followers on the Wearside Echoes nostalgia page and they answered in style.
You asked to go back to everything from the early 1900s to the 1990s.
You wanted to see the all-conquering Sunderland who were league champions in 1936, the music of the 1960s, FA Cup Final day in 1973 and the nightclubs of the 1990s.
You asked and here are some reminders of those great eras and more. But why not get in touch to tell us more about your favourite decade or year.

2. The Toy Dolls in the 80s
Sarah L Robson would love to go back to the late 1970s or early 1980s to 'see the Toy Dolls from the beginning'.

3. Binns in the 80s
Clare Michelle Parker Brown described the 1980s as 'good times' when the town still had Binns and the 'town centre was buzzing'.

4. The hot summer of 1976
Mick Mould remembered the 'hot summer of 1976' and so did we. Here is a reminder of the crowds at Seaburn that year. | JPIMedia Resell Photo: Sunderland Echo
